Holiday Maker Faire At Indian Prairie Public Library
Kids can make holiday ornaments and custom greeting cards at the Holiday Maker Faire.

DARIEN, IL — Indian Prairie Public Library is giving kids a great opportunity to make their own holiday gifts and souvenirs at the Holiday Maker Faire. The event, which will take place Saturday, Dec. 2 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and features several different ways for kids to make art.
One part of the event will be a DIY Drop-In with art stations set up so parents can help their kids craft handmade ornaments without making a mess at home. After mastering the DIY crafts, kids can create their own holiday cards at the Card Making and Coloring Station with stamps, tape, crayons, and more.
The DIY Drop-In and Card Making stations are free and no registration is required. The library will also offer a Cookie People station for kids who want to decorate their own cookie person. This special station is open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade, but students in 2nd grade or younger must be with an adult.

Get there early if you're interested in the Cookie People station. The library will begin handing out tickets at 12:30 p.m. and space in each time slot will be limited.
