Hornet Swim Club proud of Special Olympics Champion - Charlie Nilles

Over the weekend of June 9-11, 2017, Hornet Swim Club and Hinsdale South High School athlete Charlie Nilles of Darien, IL competed in the Area 2 District A Aquatics Special Olympics held at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, IL. Charlie was crowned champion of the 200M Freestyle with a time of 2:41.51, dropping close to eight seconds off his qualifying seed time of 2.49. Charlie also placed 2nd in the 100M Backstroke and helped his Hinsdale South team to a 2nd place finish in the 4x25M freestyle relay. Congratulations from your Hornet Swim Club family! #Feartheswarm.
