Missy Hoekstra-Hecht, a manager at Naperville’s Women at Risk (WAR) Chest Boutique, sees doing business at the nonprofit group’s retail outlet as “shopping with a purpose.” The boutique also lets customers hold free, in-store private parties, as well as sponsoring community events, such as a nonprofit mixer. And as a nonprofit organization, the WAR Chest Boutique is always looking for donations and volunteers.
