Ice Skating At Darien Sportsplex A Fun Holiday Activity

DARIEN, IL — One of the best ways to get in the mood for winter is to lace up a pair of skates and take a spin on the ice. Darien Sportsplex offers public skating on its rink throughout the year, but the holiday season is the best time to take advantage of this family-friendly winter activity that's right in Darien.

It costs just $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents to get access to the ice. If you don't have your own skates, you can rent a pair for only $2.

Public skate times at the Sportsplex are usually from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. during the week and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays. There is usually no public skating on Sundays or holidays. Check out the Sportsplex Public Skate Schedule for more info.
