Indian Prairie Library Hosts Community Seed Swap

DARIEN, IL - The Indian Prairie Public Library will host a community seed swap from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7. The swap will be held in the meeting room, and is presented with Good Worx Inc. and the Darien Gardening Club.

The library said all varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers are welcome. Participants can bring seeds to donate or trade, and can visit the seed library anytime to borrow seeds.

According to a release, participants can also create mosaic designs with beans and seeds or paint a mini terra cotta pot during this event.
