Set during the 1980s, Minari follows the Yi family, recent immigrants from Korea, who uproot their lives when the family patriarch, Jacob, purchases a tract of land in rural Arkansas, hoping to build up the barren plot into a prosperous farm and a new place to call home.
Once the movie is over, stick around for a brief discussion of the film, as well as other media that explore similar themes and perspectives. This program is part of the Ignite Change series.
