Indian Prairie Library Renovation Update

The Library is Temporarily Closing in April.

Due to the renovation, Indian Prairie Public Library will be closed and no services offered starting Monday, April 12. The building will reopen on Monday, April 26, 10 a.m.

Items will not be due during the closure so start stocking up. Need help choosing? Browse book list recommendations and staff favorites. IPPL cardholders can also request personalized suggestions from the library’s expert staff.

As of this week, three-week items won’t be due until Monday, May 3. One-and two-week items have regular due dates. Please check your receipt for due dates.

  • The book returns will not be open.
  • Fines will not accrue during the time that the library is closed.
  • The drive-up window will not be open.
  • Phone, chat, and email service will not be available.

Community members can always use the library’s digital services at ippl.info. Library cardholders have exclusive access to over 50 different databases and can download and stream eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, music, movies, and TV shows from our website. Don’t have a card? Get one here.

The community may also enjoy the virtual on-demand programs on the library’s YouTube channel. There is something for all ages.
