May is National Historic Preservation Month and the Indian Prairie Public Library is interviewing long-time residents of the community to preserve local history. The purpose of these local history interviews is to create a picture of what life is like today and how it has changed and continues to change, including the diversity of ages, cultures, and backgrounds within the community. Future generations will be able to view these interviews to gain an understanding of how the community has evolved. If you or someone you know would like to share your experiences, please contact Joe Popowitch, Reference Librarian, at (630) 887-8760 ext. 240 or email joep@ippl.info.Â
