Mega Model Show & Swap Meet
All aboard for some family-friendly fun at the Mega Model Show & Swap Meet in Darien on January 18. Free admission for children under 12!
St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien will host an extensive Model Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plane, train, and automobile model hobbyists will find exhibits and merchandise galore.
There will be at least two operating model railroad layouts and 70 vendor tables selling plastic model kits, diecast, and model railroad-related items on two levels in a handicap accessible building. The family-friendly event will also offer food and raffle prizes.
Admission is $5.00 for adults (18 years and older) and $2.00 for youth (12 to 17 years old). Children under 12 and Scouts in uniform are FREE! Proceeds will benefit the St. John Lutheran Church Youth Mission/Outing/Conference Fund and the St. John Facilities Improvement and Maintenance Fund.
