PHOTOS: F-15s Fly Over Darien
The planes were performing a flyover for the opening ceremonies of the Ryder Cup.
A Darien Patch reader happened to catch these photos of F-15s flying over Darien on Sept. 27. Paul Johnson was on Plainfield Road heading west when he saw two fighter jets in the sky.
Johnson, who was former military himself, recognized them as fighter jets. He pulled into a parking lot at the intersection of 83rd and Janes Ave. in Woodridge where he was able to get these photos of the F-15s. According to the Suburban Life, the planes were performing a fly-over for the opening ceremonies at the Ryder Cup in Bloomingdale.
