Possible Darien Kidnapping Under Investigation: Cops
Police have identified a suspect, but he remains at large, department says.
DARIEN, IL — A suspected kidnapping took place in Darien on Monday, with the suspect still at large, Darien police reported Friday afternoon.
Darien officers received information about the kidnapping on Thursday, according to the police department's tweets. The department said it is working with other agencies to determine what took place.
Police said they have a suspect in the crime, but he is still at large.

"His name and information have been released by unknown means. This is an ongoing investigation, and we do not believe there is any further threat to the community," the department said in its tweets.
