Preschool Enrollment & Open House

We are ready to welcome you on January 29 at 6:00 p.m. so that you can learn why our children and their families love our preschool.

Since 1969, St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center (ELC) at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL has been providing quality Christ-centered early childhood education. The school is part of the largest Protestant school system in the United States operated by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS has a network of 1,950 preschools, elementary schools and high schools.

Open enrollment for 2020-2021 begins on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Individuals who register no later than February 29, 2020 will be entitled to an Early Bird Discount of $15 on the non-refundable registration fee.

To mark the observance of National Lutheran Schools Week, St. John Lutheran ELC will host an Open House on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will provide community members the opportunity to tour the school’s DCFS-licensed facility, meet the caring staff, and hear about the exciting half-day programs offered along with before- and after-school extended care and enrichment classes. Visitors will also learn how the school, in addition to providing an excellent academic foundation, works to strengthen and support the family unit.
