SEASPAR Hosts Art Show to Showcase the Work of Participants With Disabilities
The art fair will take place Thursday, Nov. 3.
The Southeast Association for Special Parks and Recreation is celebrating its 40th anniversary by showcasing the artistic talents of its participants with disabilities.
SEASPAR, which provides dynamics recreation programs and quality services for individuals with disabilities, is putting on an art show from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3.
The art will also be on display at the community center throughout the month of November.

The participants will serve refreshments during the show, which is free and open to the public. The center is located at 7301 Fairview Ave. in Darien.
SEASPAR’s goal is to provide a wide variety of programs and services for individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and have won several local, state and national awards for its work, according to its website.

The organization does take volunteers and donations which can both be signed up for a made at www.seaspar.org. Calls can also be made to the organization at 630-960-7600.
