Trunk or Treat
Things are different this year so St. John Lutheran Church in Darien has adapted this annual event so all can be safe.
St. John Lutheran Church located at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host a family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat in their parking lot on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There is no admission fee for this community event which will be adapted this year to meet safety guidelines due to COVID-19.
Families are invited to dress in their Halloween costumes and face masks. They will walk as a unit to view decorated cars weather permitting. In lieu of receiving goodies at individual cars, children can pick up a bag of pre-packaged treats before leaving…rain or shine! Cars and households will be asked to maintain a 6-foot physical distance. A maximum of 50 individuals will be allowed in at one time.
