Willowbrook Man Arrested In Darien After Argument: Cops

A lot of activity took place on this Darien street on a recent morning, police say.

DARIEN, IL — A Willowbrook man was arrested after an argument in the driveway of a Darien house a week ago, police said.

Mohammed Mostafa, 37, was arrested on five warrants charging failure to appear in court — four from DuPage County and the other from Burr Ridge. He was released and ordered to appear in court.

About 3 a.m. June 10, a car was seen driving into the driveway at 1900 Darien Club Drive. Three people were arguing in the driveway and then went into the street. One of the participants was Mostafa, police said.

A couple of hours before, an officer saw two cars speeding north on Lyman Avenue, then going east on 75th Street. One of the cars sped away on Darien Club Drive. The other was found on the same street, with the driver released without charges, according to a police report.
