Traffic Alert For Decatur: Lane Closure On East Wood Street

Tele Scan Inc. will be performing cleaning and inspection of storm sewer in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of East Wood Street, beginning Tuesday, October 22, 2019, weather permitting.

This work will cause the closure of the East bound lanes of the 1400 and 1500 blocks of East Wood Street, starting at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday October 22, 2019, and will continue to approximately 3:00 p.m., Wednesday October 23, 2019. Detour route will be as follows: Eastbound Wood Street to Stone to Clay to 16th Street to Eastbound on Wood Street. Motorists should slow down, use extreme caution and are encourage to seek an alternate route around the work zone.
