September 17, 2019 — L.E. Myers Co, Inc. and L. Keeley Construction will both be performing work for Ameren on the transmission lines along Martin Luther King Jr Drive. Work will include removing transmission lines and existing lattice towers, then installing new monopoles and transmission lines. This work will cause the closure of the two West lanes on Martin Luther King Jr Drive and become one lane northbound and one lane southbound from East Pershing Road to East Ash Avenue beginning Friday, October 25, 2019, weather permitting. L. Keeley Construction will start their work at 7:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2019 and will continue to approximately 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2019 with L.E. Myers Co, Inc. starting their work immediately following at 7:00 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 and continuing to approximately 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019, therefore causing the West lanes of Martin Luther King Jr Drive between East Pershing Road and East Ash Avenue to be closed from 7:00 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2019 to approximately 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
