LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police.   • Pyotr Tsaytak, 67, of the 0-100 block of Hawley Street, Grayslake, is accused of having a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Feb. 22 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 22.
  • Christine I. Krzak, 32, of the 200 block of E Grand Avenue, Fox Lake, is accused of retail theft, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 37800 block of N Academy Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa. Her bond was set at $1,500 and she was assigned a court date of March 17.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

  • Jonathan R. Good, 46, of the 24800 block of Crabtree Lane, Ingleside, is accused of driving while license suspended, attempt to flee and elude, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 22 in Ingleside. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Juan A. Montemayor, 42, of the 800 block of Mirfield Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Feb. 27 at Lewis and Sunset avenues, Waukegan. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Brandon D. Jones, 34, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 27 at Delany Road and Elm Lane, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Myesha T. Sawyer, 34, of the 1900 block of Winter Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of driving while license revoked, non insurance, and was arrested Feb. 27 at Wadworth Road and Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Lisa D. Branch, 55, of Brookfield, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 27 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Juan J. Vega, 33, of the 1200 block of N Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, having a warrant for violation of a court order, and was arrested Feb. 28 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park. His bond was set at $2,800 and he was assigned a court date of March 11.
  • Kevin M. Anderson, Jr., 39, of the 200 block of Julian Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 28 at Lewis Avenue and Yorkhouse Road, Waukegan. Bond was set at $1,500.

Joseph Sharlize, 20, of the 200 block of S Lasalle Street, Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for forgery, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 300 block of W Washington Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 24.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Keith A. Townsend, 33, of the 10700 block of W 17th Street, Zion, is accused of having a warrant for resisting a peace officer, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 2000 block of 15th Street, Winthrop Harbor. His bond was set at $500,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 4.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

  • Debra L. Steinmetz, 66, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested Feb. 23 at Green Bay Road and Ford Street, Beach Park. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of April 14.
  • Robert B. Justus-Gerstner, 26, of the 800 block of Amber Way, Lake Villa, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence, and was arrested Feb. 23 in Trevor, Wisconsin. His bond was set at $50,000 and his court date was to be determined at the time of the report pending extradition.
  • Felipe Nolasco, 23, of the 35400 block of N Wilson Road, Ingleside, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 35000 block of N Route 41, Unincorporated Gurnee. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 14.
  • Henry D. Gancer, 28, of the 100 block of W Park Avenue, Libertyville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 27 at W Elm Street and Oak Avenue, Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.

Criminal Damage To Property Warrant Leads To Hefty Bond


AGGRAVATED ARSON

Christopher J. Morales, 19, of Hyattsville, Maryland, is accused of having a warrant out of Prince George County, Maryland, for aggravated arson, first degree burning, and was arrested Feb. 23 in the 2600 block of Paul Jones Street, North Chicago. His bond was set at $1 million and he was assigned a court date of March 3.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

John C. Warner, 49, of Park Falls, Wisconsin, is accused of having a warrant for a violation of an order of protection, and was arrested Feb. 24 in the 25100 block of W Lincoln Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $250,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 8.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METH

Charles E. McLean, 41, of the 300 block of Meadow Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of having a warrant for unlawful possession of meth, and was arrested Feb. 24 in Vernon Hills. His bond was set at $50,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 18.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY

Steven A. Jewell, 41, of the 40100 block of Lakeview Court, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery, and was arrested Feb. 24 in Unincorporated Antioch. His bond was set at $500,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 2.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

San J. Mendez, 26, of the 100 block of Metropolitan Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested Feb. 25 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY WITH A FIREARM

Willie Montgomery-Wise, 22, of the 1100 block of S Oakley Boulevard, Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and was arrested Feb. 26 in the 2500 block of 24th Place, North Chicago. His bond was set at $200,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 17.

ROBBERY

Decerion Bivens, 34, of the 1300 block of Broadway Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of having a warrant out of Kenosha, Wisconsin, for robbery, burglary, and was arrested Feb. 27 at 27th Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $75,000 and a court date was to be determined at the time of the report out of Kenosha County.

AGGRAVATED FLEEING AND ELUDING

Christopher Vaszuez, 28, of the 0-100 block of W Clarendon, Round Lake Beach, is accused of aggravated fleeing and eluding, driving while license suspended, no insurance, leaving the scene of a crash, and was arrested Feb. 27 at Lake Shore Drive and Olive Street, Ingleside. His bond was set at $20,000 and a court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF A CRASH

Henry D. Gancer, 28, of the 100 block of W Park Avenue, Lake Villa, is accused of leaving the scene of a crash, and was arrested Feb. 27 in the 38600 block of N Edgewood Street, Unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $1,500.
