Other high-end Bannockburn homes have been slow to sell over the past couple of years.

A former Chicago Bulls player has dropped the asking price for his French County-style mansion from $4.5 million down to $2.75 million.

A relocated video game magnate has found no takers for his 9,000-square-foot with a diving board and a home theater with its own name, dropping the price from $2.9 million to $2.6 million over the past year.

The most expensive home to sell in the village in the past six months has been a 10,500-square-foot six-bedroom on Sunset Lane which sold for $1.39 million in April. Listed last year for almost $2.5 million, the asking price dropped below the $2 million mark in early 2019 and sold a few months later.
