Bevy Of DUI Arrests Made Throughout Lake County: Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Steve E. Ruffin, 40, of the 2000 block of W Congress Parkway, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested April 20 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 16.
• Robert A. Beyers II, 52, of the 400 block of Grand Boulevard, Wauconda, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested April 21 at Route 59 and Columbia Bay Road, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Christopher J. Ponczkowski, 31, of the 25600 block of Glade Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested April 22 at Lehmann Boulevard and Academy Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Adrian X. Sanchez, 24, of the 200 block of Terra Firma Lane, Volo, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 23 at Highfield Drive and Yew Tree Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Christian R. Tiemann, 51, of the 10000 block of W Howard Street, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested April 23 at Geraghty Avenue and W Wyer Street. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 27.
• Alondra Gonzalez, 19, of the 4100 block of Jennifer Lane, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no driver's license, no insurance, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested April 24 at Kilbourne and Kaiser roads, Wadsworth. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Bruce E. Schmidt, 57, of the 1400 block of Sutton Court, Vernon Hills, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, aggravated driving while license revoked, driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested April 24 at Route 60 and Bacon Road, Round Lake. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 27.
• Mika Bartosz, 32, of the 1400 block of Sherwood Court, Gurnee, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license revoked, and was arrested April 24 in the 39000 block of N Route 41, Wadsworth. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of May 26.
• Jeffrey A. Russell, 41, of the 38300 block of N DeWoody Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 24 in the 38300 block of N DeWoody Road, Beach Park. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Michael K. Aker, 69, of the 10000 block of Linda Avenue, Des Plaines, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 25 at Route 45 and Edwards Road, Unincorporated Antioch. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of June 2.
• Brittany J. Majewski, 29, of the 37700 block of Watts Avenue, Unincorporated Spring Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested April 25 at Nippersink Place and Lake Vista Terrace, Unincorporated Spring Grove. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of June 9.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Phoenix X. Miler, 19, of the 2300 block of Joann Avenue, Zion, is accused of aggravated speeding (72 mph in a 40 mph zone), open transportation of alcohol, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested April 21 at Sheridan Road and Oak Forest Drive, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Kenneth L. Beauchamp, 21, of the 38700 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested April 21 at Yorkhouse Road and North Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set t $1,500.
• Justin B. Marquez-Milam, 33, of the 1700 block of Brown Avenue, Evanston, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested April 25 at Sheridan and Ganster roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

VIOLATION OF A COURT ORDER

Sidney Z. Givens, 23, of the 1800 block of Elizabeth Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for violation of a court order, and was arrested April 22 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of May 24.

Assault With Deadly Weapon Charge For Ingleside Man

BATTERY

• Cynthia G. Pederson, 64, of the 39900 block of N Golf Lane, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of having a warrant for battery, and was arrested April 22 in Unincorporated Antioch. Her bond was set at $20,000 and she was assigned a court date of May 13.
• Jo A. Stahoviak, 51, of the 0-100 block of E Aspen Circle, Hainesville, is accused of battery, and was arrested April 24 in the 18500 block of W Old Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. Bond was set at $1,500 and Stahoviak was assigned a court date of June 2.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Shane K. A. Albeck, 33, of the 33200 block of N Lone Rock Road, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of violation of bail bond, and was arrested April 22 in Unincorporated Grayslake. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was assigned a court date of May 13.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Steven R. Chuk, 32, of the 500 block of Everett Road, Lake Forest, is accused of no driver's license, obstructing identification, and was arrested April 23 at Route 21 and Casey Road, Unincorporated Libertyville. Bond was set at $1,500.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Andrew B. Duker, 20, of the 27ooo block of W Glen Flora Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of disorderly conduct, and was arrested April 25 in the 15900 block of W Kelly Road, Wadsworth. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 30.
