The Center for Enriched Living’s (CEL) 25th Annual Charity Golf Tournament presented by Lenovo, exceeded expectations, raising more than $245,000. 140+ golfers joined in on Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1st for a day of golf on the luxurious greens at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove.

The funds raised support CEL, a critical lifeline for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Typically, the golf tournament concludes with a dinner and program; however, due to COVID-19, the Fund the Need appeal and auction were moved online. Information went out throughout the week about CEL’s programs that connect people with IDD to friends, learning, enrichment, and community-based employment. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, CEL has expanded programming options and started offering a full lineup of virtual programs.

Lenovo was the title sponsor of the event. Additional sponsors included Arrow, CyberPower, Dell Technologies, HP, Palo Alto Networks, and Proline Options, along with more than 35 other sponsors.
