Criminal Damage To Property Warrant Leads To Hefty Bond: Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

ARRESTS

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Clatashia L. Jemine 22, of the 2700 block of Eschol Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, leaving the scene of a crash, and was arrested Feb. 15 at Route 21 and Route 41, Gurnee. Bond was set at $2,000.
• James D. Justen, 44, of the 4300 block of Judd Avenue, Schiller Park, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Feb. 18 at Route 12 and Lake Shore Drive, Unincorporated Wauconda. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Deborah A. White, 32, of Elkhart, Indiana, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 18 at Route 21 and I-94, Unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Julio C. Martinez-Tejeda, 33, of the 1400 block of West End Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Route 132 and Butrick Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $1,500.
• Daniel Cruz, 23, of the 1700 block of W Estates Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Peterson Road and Behm Avenue, Grayslake. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Destiny B. Davis, 34, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is accused of driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Sheridan and Ganster roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Richard S. Parker, 31, of the 300 block of E Kensington Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Route 41 and Deerpath Road, Lake Forest. Bond was set at $1,500.

BATTERY

• Austin R. Becker, 29, of the 33800 block of N Oak Street, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of battery, and was arrested Feb. 16 in Unincorporated Grayslake. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 15.
• Jonteze L. Harris, 20, of the 42100 block of N 7th Avenue, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of having a warrant for battery, and was arrested Feb. 18 in Unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $50,000 and Harris was assigned a court date of Feb.25.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

• April M. Reins, 24, of the 33800 block of N Oak Street, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of having a warrant out of McHenry County for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested Feb. 16 in Unincorporated Grayslake. Her bond was set at $25,000 and a future court date in McHenry Country was to be determined at the time of the report.
• Tiffany L. Fenner, 29, of Bristol, Wisconsin, is accused of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, warrant out of Wisconsin Department of Corrections for a parole violation, and was arrested Feb. 16 at Bluff Drive and Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch. Her bond was set at $20,000 and she was assigned a court date of March 31.

FLEEING TO ELUDE

Josue F. Bueno, 27, of the 2800 block of Gilboa Drive, Zion, is accused of fleeing to elude, criminal trespass to vehicle, and was arrested Feb. 16 at Bluff Drive and Grass Lake Road, Unincorporated Antioch. Bond was set at $1,500 and a court date of March 31 was assigned.

FORGERY

Brian S. Frank, 47, of the 300 block of Ventura Club Drive, Roselle, is accused of having a warrant for forgery, unlawful acquisition of a controlled substance, and was arrested Feb. 16 at Irving Park Road and Prospect Street, Roselle. His bond was set at $25,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 10.

UNLAWFUL DISPLAY OF A REGISTRATION STICKER

Karist G. Pettis, 34, of the 3000 block of Gilead Avenue, Zion, is accused of unlawful display of a registration sticker and was arrested Feb. 17 in the 38900 block of N Green Bay Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

PAROLE VIOLATION

Ronald A. Fitzgerald, 52, of the 1100 block of S Northpoint Boulevard, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for a parole violation from the Illinois Department of Corrections, and was arrested Feb. 17 in Waukegan. There was no bond and his court date with the Illinois Department of Corrections was to be determined at the time of the report.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Maria S. Garcia-Eizalde, 56, of the 4200 block of Hickory Hills Drive, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, no insurance, aggravated speeding (71 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Feb. 18 at Delaney and Wadsworth roads. Bond was set at $2,000.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Jesus Ochoa, 21, of the 58300 block of Monarch Court, Beach Park, is accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, improper transportation of cannabis, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 18 at Lewis Avenue and Partridge Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $25,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 24.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

James R. Jurkowski, 44, of Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 18 in Ingleside. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 24.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Julio C. Herrera, 24, of Phoenix, Arizona, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 18 at Route 45 and Miller Road, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 24.
• Luis Rodriguez Carrasco, 47, of the 3500 block of Elaine Avenue, Park City, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 19 at St. Marys Road and Littel St. Marys Road, Mettawa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.
• Jeffrey M. Wickman, 40, of the 6700 block of Normandy Drive, Spring Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, endangering the life of a child, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Diamond Lake Road and Indian Creek Drive, Long Grove. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.
• Tori J. Harrington, 37, of the 1800 block of 12th Street, Winthrop Harbor, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Sheridan Road and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 14.
• Cody K. Garza, 28, of the 36500 block of N Hilda Lane, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Nathan Hale Drive and Genoa Avenue, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 24.
• Omar Pizano-Alcantar, 40, of the 2300 block of Joppa Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Lewis Avenue and 29th Street, Zion. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 14.
• Samuel Cordova, 38, of the 3100 block of S 53rd Avenue, Cicero, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Route 134 and Fox Trail Drive, Round Lake. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 14.
• Arnold Estrada, 39, of the 100 block of Centennial Drive, Hainesville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Route 12 and Route 134, Fox Lake. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.
• Bernard J. Zastrow, 55, of the 1800 block of N Jackson Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 20 at Sunset Drive and McAree Road, Waukegan. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 14.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

• Maximino M. Alvarado, 50, of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, is accused of criminal damage to property, and was arrested Feb. 19 in the 38200 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of March 31.
• Randi N. Soto, 25, of the 37200 block of Piper Lane, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of having a warrant for criminal damage to property, driving while license revoked, leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Feb. 21 in Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $500,ooo and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 25.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DELIVER

Anthony Gallegos, Jr., 46, of the 900 block of Barnart Court, Zion, is accused of unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving while license revoked, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 19 at Carmel Boulevard and Elisha Avenue, Zion. His bond was set at $150,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 24.

BURGLARY

Damien Amelio, 23, of the 1400 block of Woodrige Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of having a warrant for burglary, theft, and was arrested Feb. 19 in the 1400 block of Woodridge Drive, Round Lake Beach. His bond was set at $150,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 24.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Daniel Morales, 33, of the 37000 block of Piper Lane, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of having a warrant for contempt of court, and was arrested Feb. 19 in Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $5,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 23.

LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

David A. Toth, 42, of the 25200 block of Cayuga Trail, Lake Barrington, is accused of having a warrant for leaving the scene of an accident, and was arrested Feb. 20 in Lake Barrington. His bond was set at $10,000 and his court date was to be determined in Cook County at the time of the report.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Alan DeDiego-Rojas, 18, of the 39200 block of N Delany Road, Wadsworth, is accused of aggravated speeding (81 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested Feb. 20 at Rollins Road and Hook Drive, Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500.
