Deerfield Businesses Make Global 500 List
Walgreen and Mondelez International made the list compiled by CNN Money.
Two Deerfield businesses are among the world’s 500 largest corporations, according to CNN Money.
The local companies made Fortune’s Global 500 list for 2013. The list ranks the companies by revenue for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.

- No. 120: Walgreen; $71.6 billion in revenues; $2,127 million in profits
- No. 313: Mondelez International; $35 billion in revenues; $3,028 million in profits
Tops on the list this year is Royal Dutch Shell. The company brought in 481.7 billion in revenue this fiscal year. A close second is Wal-Mart with $469.2 billion in revenues.
