Deerfield Discourages Trick-Or-Treating Amid Coronavirus
The Village of Deerfield said it will not post official trick-or-treat hours this Halloween.
DEERFIELD, IL — Deerfield residents are encouraged to stay home this Halloween and, instead, get creative with virtual alternatives.
In an update to its website, the Village of Deerfield said it will not post official trick-or-treat hours for Halloween this year.
Instead of trick-or-treating, the village is asking residents to consider spending time coming up with crafty lawn decor, organizing virtual costume contests or dropping off packages of pre-wrapped candy in sealed bags on the porches of neighborhood children.
