Deerfield High School Graduates Receive DYBA/DYSBA Scholarships
Deerfield Youth Baseball and Softball Association awards six DHS graduates college scholarships
Annually, the Deerfield Youth Baseball and Softball Association recognizes its exceptional alumni. On Tuesday, June 8th, the DYBA/DYSBA Board awarded six $1000 college scholarships to Deerfield High School graduates for their distinct involvement in community service, academics, and sports. The scholarships are earned based on DYBA/DYSBA Board and the Deerfield High School varsity baseball and softball team’s voting.
DYBA Commissioner, Harley Rosenthal said “Growing up in Deerfield as a DHS and DYBA/DYSBA alumnus myself and being a part of the DHS and DYBA/DYSBA communities for many years, it is a tremendous honor to make these awards and is inspiring to be able to see the amazing accomplishments of our young adults and scholarship winners. They and their families should be extremely proud of the young men and women they have become, and DYBA/DYSBA wishes all of our scholarship recipients nothing but the best in their future college and professional endeavors. Always know that there is a baseball and softball field waiting for you to play on when you come back home!”
The DYBA Board is pleased to recognize the following six graduates:
