Deerfield Man Indicted for Felony Identity Theft
Kurtis Johansson, 35, of Deerfield, will be arraigned April 8.
A Lake County grand jury has indicted Deerfield resident Kurtis Johansson, 35, on two counts of felony identity theft between $300 and $2,000, and one count of felony forgery of more than $300, according to the Deerfield Review.
Johansson had been taken into police custody in February for violating an order of protection. Police then determined he made unauthorized transactions on the victim’s credit cards. He will be arraigned April 8. If convicted, Johansson faces 10 to 25 years in prison.
