Barbara L. Tate, of Lincolnshire, IL, formally of Deerfield, IL, passed away peacefully September 27, 2014.
Member of Deerfield Garden Club. Her passions were painting, traveling, and her grandchildren. She was an active member of the St Gregory’s Episcopal Church.

Beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Pamela (Michael) Mytych, Michele (Hugh) McBreen; cherished grandmother of Danielle, Michael John, Luke, Alannah, and Jack; great-grandmother of Max; dear sister of Norma (Walt) Mackenzie; beloved aunt of Deborah (Steve) Necessary; and adored great-aunt of Kristine (Matt) Loveless, Courtney Necessary and Abbie (Mykas) Degesys.
A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. A memorial service will be held at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, 815 Wilmot Road, Deerfield, IL on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10am.
