Deerfield Police Warn of Phone Scam
The callers say they are from ComEd and demand immediate payment.
The following is from the Deerfield Police Facebook Page:
RESIDENTS PLEASE BE AWARE! There is a current phone scam where callers are identifying themselves as representatives of ComEd and requesting immediate payment for delinquent accounts. PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PAYMENT!
