So you’re at home, in the car, on vacation, or taking a break from work and the one thing you want is the perfect book or movie that draws you in immediately. We get it. Which is why we are thrilled to offer a brand new service at the Deerfield Public Library called Personalized Picks.

Here’s how it works: Simply fill out our Personalized Picks form (link below), and a librarian will send you a list of books and or movies/television shows that are carefully curated for you!

You can also find the forms on our Get Recommendations page.

For kids and teens, we’ll find picks for vacation reading, car trips, classroom read alouds, ready-to-read, and more based on their hobbies and interests. We’ll even put the books on hold for you–easy peasy!

Our staff have a wide variety of reading and watching interests, and one of our favorite things to do is help connect people with great new reads and watches. We’re so excited to find your next great read (or watch) for you!
