Deerfield’s 4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled

Deerfield's traditional Fourth of July events has been moved to the fall, but there are other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.

DEERFIELD, IL — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

Deerfield’s traditional Fourth of July celebration — Family Days — has been moved to the fall. The fall event is expected to include a fireworks display, live music and other family activities.

Families looking for something to do Independence Day weekend can venture over to the Deerfield Farmers Market, Park Avenue between Jewett Park Drive and Hazel Avenue. The weekly market runs 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 3. To learn more, visit www.deerfield.il.us.

What: Lincolnshire's Red, White, & BOOM! Car Show
Where: North Park, 1025 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire
When: 4 to 6 p.m. July 4

What: Fireworks show
Where: Arlington International Racecourse
When: Post time for the first race is set for 2:25 p.m. July 3 with fireworks starting at around 9 p.m.
