Dentists Buy Vacant Lot In Deerfield For $320,000
The 0.4-acre property was purchased this month for nearly 40 percent more than its sale price less than four years ago.

DEERFIELD, IL — A 0.41-acre vacant lot in northwest Deerfield was sold earlier this month for $320,000, as a pair of dentists closed on the purchase of the land on March 1, according to county property records.
Prior to that, the property was last sold for $231,000 in June 2015 to an entity controlled by Highland Park-based Red Rock Development. Owner Matt Pollack has not responded to a request for comment about the property.
The lot formerly housed a single-story home built in 1927 and a garage, which were listed as being in tear-down and as-is conditions, respectively. The land is valued at under $160,000 for taxing purposes, according to the Lake County Assessor's Office.
