Glenn Morris Announces Trustee Candidacy for Bannockburn
Looks to move Village forward while preserving character and charm

Bannockburn resident Glenn Morris announced his candidacy for Trustee for the Village of Bannockburn. The election is April 6, 2021.
“Bannockburn offers something most other communities lack, character and charm,” Morris said. “These are some of the many reasons my wife and I chose to live here. I want to help preserve the unique character of our community. It’s time to move our Village forward while preserving what sets us apart.”
Currently, Morris serves as a Commissioner of the Bannockburn Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He is an experienced entrepreneur and has served for more than 40 years as Chief Executive Officer in a number of enterprises, primarily engaged in finance, insurance and real estate.

Top priorities of his campaign are:
- Preserve the character of the Village
- Transparent and respectful communication
- Represent the needs and wants of Bannockburn residents
Throughout his career, Morris has co-founded a number of companies. He currently operates a private loan company. He also helped launch Medical Express Ambulance Service (MedEx). He earned a Bachelors of Arts Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. He also graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School.

His entrepreneurial spirit has provided him a wealth of knowledge in a variety of subjects. His expertise will be advantageous in the work of the Village Board.
“I look forward to the opportunity to serve the residents of Bannockburn,” Morris said. “It is time for needed change in our Village. I believe I can represent all residents and move our Village forward in a way that makes sense for our unique community.”
Morris and his wife, Lauren, have lived in Bannockburn since 2014.
