Jersey Mike's Subs Opening First Deerfield Location

DEERFIELD, IL — Jersey Mike's Subs, a national franchise with more than 2,500 locations, is opening a new one in Deerfield. Franchise owner Mark Michalak is bringing the popular chain to 190 Waukegan Road with the first day of business set for Sept. 30.

“We are very excited to open up our Deerfield location and bring the Sub Above experience to the local community,” Michalak said in a release.

Known for its fresh sliced and fresh-grilled subs, Jersey Mike's Subs will be holding a grand opening and fundraiser from opening day through Oct. 4 to support Bounce Children's Foundation. Five thousand mailers will be sent to residents around the store offering special sub deals to be redeemed in the same timeframe. For each redeemed coupon, Jersey Mike’s will donate $1 to the charity. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.

“For this opening, we are partnering with Bounce Children’s Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to creating a supportive community for chronically ill children and their families," Michalak said. "Giving back to the community is part of Jersey Mike’s Subs culture, and we are proud to form this partnership with Bounce.”

Based on guidance from the CDC and public health authorities, to start, Jersey Mike’s dining room will be open with limited socially-distant tables inside.

Guests can continue to place takeout orders in-store or for pickup through the website or through the Jersey Mike’s app. Additionally, delivery is available in most areas through the Jersey Mike’s app or through third-party delivery partners.

The health and well-being of Jersey Mike’s guests and operators are its highest priorities, and locations continue to prepare, serve and package Jersey Mike’s subs with all the precautionary measures in place to protect its customers and its teams.

Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide, believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same.
