Man Accused Of Aggravated Battery To Elderly: Blotter

ARRESTS

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Aaron T. Borko, 32, of the 2100 block of Hebron Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested June 28 at Washington Street and Almond Road, Gurnee. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Haley E. Spencer, 30, of the 2100 block of N Aster Place, Round Lake Beach, is accused of having a warrant for driving while license suspended, and was arrested June 28 at Route 12 and Grand Avenue, Fox Lake. Her bond was set at $20,000 and she was assigned a court date of July 21.
• Abel Reyes, 71, of the 10200 block of Waldo Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested June 30 in Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

THEFT

Brandon L. Smith, 38, of the 1000 block of S Elmwood Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for theft, battery, disorderly conduct, and was arrested June 30 in Waukegan. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 8.

RESISTING ARREST

Jamarcus M. Smith, 28, of the 1800 block of Lincoln Street, North Chicago, is accused of having a warrant for resisting arrest, driving while license suspended, and was arrested June 30 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 29.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Victor W. Pruitt, 58, of the 2700 block of Salem Drive, Zion, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested July 1 in Zion. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 26.
• Ann M. McCann, 26, of the 1000 block of Village Drive, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, no insurance, and was arrested July 2 at Route 134 and Catherine Street, Ingleside. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of Aug. 11.
• Chad E. Kelso, 43, of the 2000 block of Grandview Drive, Johnsburg, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested July 3 at Route 12 and State Park Road, Unincorporated Spring Grove. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 30.
• Justin R. Bartels, 40, of the 200 block of Niagara Drive, Volo, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested July 3 at Darrell and Case roads, Unincorporated Wauconda. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 30.
• Ayanna B. Hodge, 28, of the 2300 block of Horeb Avenue, Zion, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested July 4 at Sheridan and Wadsworth roads, Beach Park Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of Aug. 18.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

• Lawrence P. Corso, 37, of the 800 block of E Crest Avenue, Addison, is accused of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested July 1 in the 38000 block of N Peninsula Road, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of July 21.
• Connor R. Devlin, 22, of the 400 block of Farrington Drive, Lincolnshire, is accused of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property, and was arrested July 2 in the 18600 block of Grand Avenue, Unincorporated Gurnee. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of Aug. 11.

BATTERY

Stefon R. Hunter, 40, no permanent address, is accused of aggravated battery to the elderly, parole violation, and was arrested July 1 at Route 59 and Highwoods Drive, Lake Villa. No bond was set and a future court date was to be determined at the time of the report.

FALSE REPORTING OF AN OFFENSE

Joshua J. McCarthy, 34, no permanent address, is accused of having a warrant for false reporting of an offense, and was arrested July 1 at Green Bay and Yorkhouse roads, Beach Park. His bond was set at $50,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 7.

VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

Miriam J. Argueta, 36, of the 7000 block of Hamilton Drive, Gurnee, is accused of violation of an order of protection, and was arrested July 1 in the 37100 block of N Garrick Avenue, Beach Park. Her bond was set at $10,000 and she was assigned a court date of July 7.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO A VEHICLE

Lawrence X. Palmer, 39, of the 37700 block of Green Bay Road, Beach Park, is accused of having a warrant for criminal trespass to a vehicle, and was arrested July 1 in Beach Park. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of July 15.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Angela L. Watkins, 37, of the 5400 block of Cornell Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated speeding (86 mph in a 45 mph zone), and was arrested July 2 at Route 60 and Peterson Road, Unincorporated Gurnee. Bond was set at $1,500.
