Bannockburn Village Trustee candidate Glenn Morris believes residents deserve fair and respectful representation on the Village Board.

Morris said he was motivated to run for Village Trustee after witnessing how the Board interacted with residents during the Beeson’s Corner project and the Allegro senior living project.

“No resident should be treated the way the Board handled the crowd attending the Beeson’s Corner development hearings,” Morris said. “These residents took time to voice their concerns and were dismissed by the Village Board. This is not unusual behavior for the Board and it should not be tolerated.”

Morris noted that he will represent all residents and will take the time to hear all resident concerns.

“The time is now for a change,” Morris said. “Residents should not have to put up with the behavior displayed by the current Village Board. While these individuals were elected by the residents, they have shown that they do not care to represent the community in a fair and honest way.”

“The Village Board owes it to the residents to be respectful and transparent. Residents deserve better,” Morris said

“If elected, I pledge to respect our residents, the community and to make the process transparent and responsive.
