New Dog Care Franchise Opening In Deerfield

DEERFIELD, IL — A new pet store catered to dogs exclusively is set to open June 26 in Deerfield. The Dog Stop, a franchise with more than 20 locations, will operate at 495 Lake Cook Road.

The Deerfield location is owned by residents Alisa and Jami Guthrie, according to a news release from The Dog Stop.

The Dog Stop features luxury boarding accommodations, an interactive and social daycare experience, a spa-like grooming retreat and a retail store. The store's 24,000+ square foot indoor and outdoor facility "caters to every dog's wish," according to its website. Other features include:
