John Sowa, of Flossmoor, took this photo on Volmer Road Grove in Country Club Hills. Sowa said the caption for this photo should be, "This mallard has something to say."
Al Benson sent in this photo of Naperville Central senior running back Jaden McGill (21) being tripped by Metea Valley's Ryan Danko in the Redhawks' 42-7 win at Metea Valley. McGill ran for 133 yards and scored three touchdowns.
