Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault Of A Child Arrest Made: Blotter

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The following information comes from the Lake County Sheriff's Office and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. ARRESTS

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Jason Montoya, 23, of the 1000 block of N Route 21, Libertyville, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 8 in Libertyville. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 2.
• Joseph A. Phillips, 40, of the 25500 block of Lakeshore Drive, Ingleside, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 8 at Route 134 and Nippersink Road, Ingleside. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 31.
• Brandon M. Zoellner, 21, of the 10700 block of Preston Parkway, Huntley, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, having a warrant for desertion from the U.S. Army, and was arrested Feb. 10 at Darrell and Fisher roads, Unincorporated McHenry. His bond was set at $3,000 from Lake County and he received no bond from the U.S. Army. Zoellner was assigned a court date of March 17.
• Preston E. Lambert, 61, of the 2200 block of Ridgeland Drive, Lindenhurst, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 10 at Route 59 and Wilson Road, Ingleside. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 17.
• Francisco Rodriguez-Juarez, 25, of the 1300 block of Chestnut Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 11 in the Waukegan. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 11.
• Jose A. Benitez-Reyes, 38, of the 500 block of S Lewis Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested Feb. 11 at Russell Road and Oak Crest Lane, Unincorporated Zion. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 5.
• Diego Rojas, 25, of the 12600 block of W Atlantic Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, no insurance, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 12 at Garrick and Sherman avenues, Waukegan. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 17.
• Danielle M. Peterson, 33, of Walworth, Wisconsin, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 13 at Route 59 and Stanton Point Road, Ingleside. Her bond was set at $3,000 and she was assigned a court date of March 31.
• Douglas Ortiz-Vera, 26, of the 1000 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 13 at 9th Street and Green Bay Road, Zion. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.
• Alexandro J. Lopez, 27, of the 1600 block of Rice Street, Waukegan, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, driving under the influence of combined alcohol/drugs, aggravated speeding (80 MPH in a 35 MPH zone), illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested Feb. 14 at Lewis Avenue and Yorkhouse Road, Waukegan. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 7.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

• Luis E. Primero, 20, of the 300 block of N Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested Feb. 8 at Route 60 and Peterson Road, Unincorporated Grayslake. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Marvin T. Guerrero, 22, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is accused of no driver's license, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 11 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

• Alfredo D. Jordan, 21, of the 200 block of Joseph Street, Woodstock, is accused of having a warrant for disorderly conduct, driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 8 at Route 59 and Channel Drive, Ingleside. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 11.
• Jonathan E. Hernandez, 19, no permanent address, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Feb. 12 in the 1100 block of Route 43, Waukegan. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 16.

ASSAULT

Robert A. Aldag, 58, of the 33600 block of N Oakland Drive, Unincorporated Grayslake, is accused of assault, disorderly conduct, and was arrested Feb. 8 in Unincorporated Grayslake. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 25.

DOMESTIC BATTERY

• Kristine K. Dehler, of Spring Grove, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 10 in Waukegan. Her bond was set at $10,o00 and she was assigned a court date of Feb. 22.
• Edward D. Meeks, 26, of Volo, is accused of having a warrant for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, along with new charges of obstructing a peace officer, parole violation, and was arrested Feb. 10 in the Volo. He was given no bond and was assigned a court date of Feb. 17.
• Cristian A. Yarbrough, 25, of Ingleside, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 11 in Ingleside. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 19.
• Ella K. Franklin, 24, of Unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of domestic battery, and was arrested Feb. 12 in Unincorporated Gurnee. Her bond was set at $20,000 and she was assigned a court date of Feb. 16.

OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION

Travis A. Johnson, 21, of the 26400 block of W Grapevine Avenue, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of having a warrant for obstructing identification, and was arrested Feb. 1o in Unincorporated Antioch. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 17.

BATTERY

• Christopher B. Pearson, 49, of the 37700 block of N Green Bay Road, Beach Park, is accused of battery, and was arrested Feb. 10 in the 12700 block of W Bonnie Brook Lane, Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of March 10.
• James G. Hall, 42, of the 1600 block of Mill Road, McHenry, is accused of battery, and was arrested Feb. 11 in the 37400 block of Cremona Lane, Unincorporated Lake Villa. His bond was set at $1,500 and he was assigned a court date of March 10.

PREDATORY CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD

Luis A. Martinez-Serrano, 26, of the 1400 block of Kildeer Lane, Round Lake Beach, is accused of having a warrant for predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, and was arrested Feb. 10 in Round Lake Beach. His bond was set at $500,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 17.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Tyrone Hicks Smith, 29, of the 800 block of Pine Grove Avenue, Gurnee, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 11 at 31st Street and Lewis Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Gerardo I. Pena, 28, of the 37100 block of N Birch Avenue, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 12 at Green Bay Road and Wadsworth Road, Beach Park. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Terrance B. Lyons, 32, of the 100 block of Highmoor Drive, Round Lake Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, no insurance, and was arrested Feb. 13 at Route 134 and Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Alejandra Estefes, 24, of the 1800 block of Delany Road, Gurnee, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 14 at Beach Road and Russell Avenue, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Elizabeth Zamora, 34, of the 38200 block of N Sheridan Road, Beach Park, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested Feb. 14 at Sheridan and Hendee roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

John L. Phillips, 48, of the 36600 block of N Helen Drive, Unincorporated Lake Villa, is accused of having a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender, as well as a new charge of driving while license revoked, and was arrested Feb. 11 at Route 83 and Washington Street, Grayslake. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 17.

RETAIL THEFT

Jaicia M. Walden, 29, of the 0-100 block of N Lake Street, Grayslake, is accused of having a warrant for retail theft, and was arrested Feb. 12 in the Grayslake. Bond was set at $40,000 and Walden was assigned a court date of March 4.

HARASSMENT THROUGH ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Randall Rayborn, 22, of the 23000 block of W Lakeshore Drive, Unincorporated Antioch, is accused of having a warrant for harassment through electronic communication, and was arrested Feb. 12 in the 2600 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was assigned a court date of Feb. 16.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

Ella K. Franklin, 24, of the 36100 block of Grand Oaks Court, Unincorporated Gurnee, is accused of a violation of bail bond, and was arrested Feb. 13 in Unincorporated Gurnee. Her bond was set at $40,000 and she was assigned a court date of Feb. 16.

AGGRAVATED SPEEDING

Shameir K. Faulkner, 19, of the 8100 block of S Dante Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated speeding (95 MPH in a 55 MPH zone), and was arrested Feb. 14 at Route 41 and Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
