Want to Serve on the D109 Board? Info Packets Now Available

The first day to circulate candidate petitions is Sept. 23.

The following is from District 109:

If you are interested in being elected to the Deerfield Public Schools District 109 Board of Education, you can pick up a candidate packet from the District Center (517 Deerfield Road in Deerfield). Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Fridays.

When you pick up a packet, you may choose to share your contact information with the District, so the District can contact you if there is important election information to share with candidates.

The Lake County Clerk’s office provided a limited number of packets to the District; additional packets are available from the Lake County Clerk. You can find information about packets, and more candidate information, on the Lake County Clerk’s candidate information website.

Please note that the first day that you may circulate petitions is September 23, 2014; the filing period is from December 15 to December 22, 2014. Filing is done at the Lake County Clerk’s office, not at the District Center.
