Wisconsin Man Charged With Illegal Gun, Cannabis: Blotter

ARRESTS

FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEXUAL PREDATOR/OFFENDER

• Michael Malombo, 39, of the 38500 block of N Green Bay Road, Beach Park, is accused of failure to register as a sexual predator, and was arrested March 22 in Beach Park. His bond was set at $20,000 and he was assigned a court date of March 31.
• Carlos E. Miramontes, 31, of the 1000 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan, is accused of having a warrant for failure to register as a sexual offender, plus a new charge of resisting arrest, and was arrested March 23 in the 1700 block of Wedgewood Drive, Gurnee. His bond was set at $30,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 19.

AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT

Michael A. Wells, 53, of the 26300 block of Elmwood Drive, Unincorporated Mundelein, is accused of aggravated identity theft, and was arrested March 22 in Unincorporated Mundelein. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 28.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED

• Quinten Walker-Owens, 23, of the 500 block of Meadow Green, Round Lake Beach, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested March 24 at Route 45 and Chatham Way, Unincorporated Lake Villa. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Rosalino J. Reyes, 23, of the 35700 block of N Benjamin Avenue, Ingleside, is accused of driving while license suspended, suspended registration, and was arrested March 24 at Route 83 and Grass Lake Road, Lake Villa. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Loderrian Preacely-Howard, 27, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, is accused of driving while license suspended, having a warrant for theft, and was arrested March 27 at Sheridan and Beach roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $20,000 and Preacely-Howard was assigned a court date of April 14.
• Victor Hernandez Rocha, 30, of the 1500 block of Victoria Avenue, North Chicago, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested March 27 at Route 41 and Hanssen Road, Wadsworth. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Yedrin D. Cortes-Hernandez, 30, of the 2200 block of 8th Parkway, Waukegan, is accused of driving while license suspended, and was arrested March 27 at Sheridan and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM

David Dorado, 29, of the 400 block of Center Lane, Round Lake Park, is accused of having a warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm, and was arrested March 25 in the 300 block of Washington Street, Waukegan. His bond was set at $10,000 and he was assigned a court date of May 17.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

• Daveena L. Johnson, 30, of the 3300 block of W Potomac Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, open transportation of alcohol, and was arrested March 26 at Route 60 and Bennett Road, Mettawa. Bond was set at $3,000 and Johnson was assigned a court date of May 5.
• Mahogany L. Turner, 35, of the 1800 block of 16th Street, North Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested March 27 at 24th Street ad Lewis Avenue, Zion. Bond was set at $3,000 and Turner was assigned a court date of May 5.

FORGERY

• Cynthia Bustos, 24, of the 200 block of William Street, Carpentersville, is accused of having a warrant for forgery, and was arrested March 26 in the 22000 block of N Kelsey Road, Lake Barrington. Her bond was set at $25,000 and she was assigned a court date of April 12.
• Victor Bustos, 32, of the 200 block of William Street, Carpentersville, is accused of having a warrant for forgery, and was arrested March 26 in the 22000 block of N Kelsey Road, Lake Barrington. His bond was set at $25,000 and he was assigned a court date of April 12.

UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

James Michael Ruiz, Jr., 21, of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is accused of unlawful use of a weapon, illegal transportation of cannabis, and was arrested March 27 at Sheridan and Hendee roads, Beach Park. His bond was set at $1,5000 and he was assigned a court date of April 28.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Mariela Castelanos-Hernandez, 32, of the 900 block of Adams Street, Waukegan, is accused of no driver's license, and was arrested March 28 at Green Bay and Blanchard roads, Beach Park. Bond was set at $1,500.
