Car set ablaze in Des Plaines, police investigating

Des Plaines Police are investigating an apparent incident of arson where a car was set on fire at 160 Northwest Highway just after midnight on Thursday, according to the Daily Herald.

The owner of the now-burnt Honda Accord heard something in the apartment parking lot and saw two unknown men walking away. A bottle appearing to contain flammable accelerant was reportedly found at the scene.
