Free Mustard Costumes For Chicago Dogs Fans
Chicago Dogs baseball team — named for Chicago's favorite and oldest culinary tradition —is celebrating selling out its home games.
ROSEMONT, IL — The Chicago Dogs baseball team will celebrate selling out their second home game by giving away free mustard costumes to the fans, according to a news release from the team.
Members of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, the team is named after "Chicago's favorite and oldest culinary tradition," according to the team's website.
The team plays at the 6300-seat Impact Field, 9800 Balmoral Ave. in Rosemont, and is managed by former Boston Red Sox manager Butch Hobson.

At the team's May 29 game against the Sioux City Explorers, fans will receive free commemorative mustard costumes and full-size bottles of mustard, according to the team.
"Mustard was chosen because it's Chicago's staple ingredient for the Chicago style hot dog!" team spokesperson Alyssa Krueger told Patch. "The team is very serious about their condiments!"
