Golf Maine Park District to Host Free Summer Party in Dee Park August 8
The Summer Party in the Park hosted by the Golf Maine Park District (GMPD) is scheduled for Saturday, Aug 8. Activities will be from 6 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m. when the movie starts at dusk. Everything takes place in Dee Park located at Emerson and Dee Roads in unincorporated Maine Township. There is no charge for admission.
“All area families are invited to join us at Dee Park for a spectacular party event to celebrate summer,” said John Jekot, Executive Director of GMPD. There will be an inflatable bounce house for the kids, food, music, face painting and family games. At the end of the evening, relax and enjoy a movie in the park as the movie “Big Hero 6” will be shown. So grab your lawn chair or find a seat on the grass!
