Golf Maine Park District Hosts Successful Easter Egg Hunt

With a slight chill in the air under sunny skies, area children flocked to Dee Park for the 2015 Easter Egg Hunt.

One of the most successful in recent years!

Over 100 children participated in the 2015 Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at Dee Park in unincorporated Maine Township near Niles. Hosted by the Golf Maine Park District under new Executive Director John Jekot, the Egg Hunt was one of the largest in recent years. Dee Park is one of the two main parks in the district.

It is expected to undergo a massive renovation over the next few years paid for by local funds and state grants. After the hunt, children could have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
