Missing Des Plaines Teen Considered Endangered: Sheriff

If you've seen Darilimar Martinez, police want your call.

COOK COUNTY, IL — Cook County authorities are asking the public's help in finding a missing teen, according to a social media post by the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Darilimar “Dara” Martinez, 16, was last seen Sunday, Dec. 22, at 12:45 p.m. at Harbor House in the 300 block of North East River Rd. in Des Plaines, the Facebook post says.

The post says Martinez is a "youth in care" and considered endangered.

She may be on the west side of Chicago, the post says.

Martinez is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black T-shirt, white gym shoes and an orange coat.

She had a black left eye.
