North and South Elementary Schools will welcome new leaders this summer, the Journal & Topics reports.
Both schools will be getting new principals who will begin work on July 1. Michelle Flores is the new principal for South Elementary School, and Howard Coleman was given the job at North Elementary School, the newspaper reports. Flores comes to District 62 from Oak Terrace Elementary School in Highwood where she was an associate principal. Coleman comes to Des Plaines from Kankakee where he was a principal at Pembroke School District 259.
