Oakton hosts May 28 hiring event
Oakton is partnering with congressional leaders, agencies for May 28 hiring event at the college's campus in Des Plaines.
Oakton Community College is joining with U.S. Representatives Brad Schneider and Jan Schakowsky, National Able Network and the Illinois Department of Employment Security for a hiring event 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at the college’s TenHoeve Center, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
The free event, which is open to the public, will feature more than 70 local and national employers with immediate openings. Early entry for veterans begins at 9:30 a.m. The following businesses are scheduled to participate:
