Police Looking For Fugitive Wanted for Aggravated Battery

COOK COUNTY, IL — The Cook County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a man wanted on an aggravated battery charge for a domestic incident. An arrest warrant was issued for Jose A. Garcia-Rumualdo, 27, of unincorporated Elk Grove Township, on Oct. 7, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Garcia-Rumualdo is described as being 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighing 155 pounds, authorities said. He has short or close-shaved black or dark brown hair.

Garcia-Rumualdo’s last known address is in the 500 block of Touhy Avenue in unincorporated Des Plaines. He is also believed to have ties to Texas and California.
