Property Tax Bills Due Aug. 1

Cook County residents should expect the second installment of property tax bills to arrive in their mailbox later this month, the Journal & Topics reports.

Taxes are due Aug. 1, which is earlier than some residents are used to. In recent years, taxes have been due as late as December, the newspaper reports. For information on any problems or concerns with your tax bill, contact the township assessor where you live.
