Sandra "Sandy" Tarrson, 65.

Beloved daughter of the late Irvin and the late Beatrice Tarrson. Loving sister of Deborah Tarrson and Henry T. Fiddler. Sandra (Sandy) was born on August 23, 1954, the third child in a family of 3 children. She was a sweet baby who was well loved by her family. Sandy attended Park School in Evanston, a school for children with special needs like her, From 1960 to 1975. In 1975 she began working at Lambs Farm in Libertyville in the Silk Screen room, and commuted from her parent’s home in Evanston. She helped make holiday cards there, and many of her original designs were used on the cards.
In 1981 Sandy was one of the first participants to move into the newly built residence houses on the Lambs Farm campus in Libertyville. She worked in the silk-screening room, the Pet Shop, and in the Work Center during her almost 40 years there.
Sandy was well loved by all of the staff and residents at Lambs Farm, and was helpful, fun and playful, and had a great sense of humor (she loved being silly). She was an active participant in Special Olympics, Quest classes, house outings, and the Elvis Presley Fan club!!
Sandy moved to Golfview Developmental Center in August 2019 to meet her need for extra support.
Sandy loved and was well loved by her extended family, including her Cousins and Aunt and Uncle in the Chicago area, and had fun visiting with them during the summer when her sister Debbie would visit. Sandy adored her sister Debbie, and Debbie adored her. They were always happy when they were together. We are all deeply saddened by her passing, and know she will be greatly missed.
